Coach Stephen “Steve” Turner is the head varsity coach at Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida. Coach Turner spent the last 21 years as the head coach of Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC, with an overall record of 468 wins and 171 losses. Gatorade, USA Today, and The Washington Post have awarded Coach Turner with Coach of the Year honors.

Steve Turner has had the honor of being named Jordan Brand All-American Game Coach (2x), Academic All-American Game Coach, Nike Global Challenge Game Coach (2x), and Nike Hoop Summit Game Coach. Coach Turner has also coached the USA Basketball Junior National Teams, winning a gold medal in 2021 at the U16 FIBA America and winning gold again at the 2022 U17 FIBA World Cup.
